We mourn the loss of Squadron Leader Ivy Naa Ayorkor Tetteh, a friend of Accra Archive.

Squadron Leader Ivy Naa Ayorkor Tetteh (1987 - 2025) was a generous and supportive friend to the Accra Archive initiative from the very beginning. It was she who introduced Kuukuwa to many of the colleagues that she currently collaborates with to digitize and preserve endangered architectural archives in Ghana.

Squadron Leader Ivy Tetteh was an architect who trained at the Department of Architecture of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (BSc Architecture, 2010; PG Dip Architecture 2012. She went on to professional career beginning with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and continuing as a commissioned officer of the Ghana Air Force, and ending with her promotion to the rank of Squadron Leader with national honours for her services to architecture.

She was a diligent, hardworking, and brilliant colleague who greatly impacted the projects she contributed to and worked on. Her generosity and support helped the building Early Accra project get off the ground and contributed to our achievements.

May she rest in perfect peace.
